As a Certified Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, I offer a wide range of fitness services and training styles. More than just getting you into shape, I also help with improving endurance, building strength, rehabilitating from injury and improving your flexibility. You and I will develop a plan that you are comfortable with.  The plan will work with your schedule, comfort levels and current fitness challenges.  I will not push you to do more than you can handle physically or emotionally.  I will ease you into a lifelong love of fitness.  You will feel healthy and happy in the skin you are in. Tired of sitting all day? Do your body a favor and get your blood pumping. Health and fitness is not as much about what your body looks like on the outside but it is about how it functions on the inside and how it makes you feel. Your heart is a muscle too, and my workouts will get your heart-rate up. I will customize a plan just for you and your needs.  I offer resistance training by using a variety of equipment. No one has ever said, "I'm sorry I worked out." 
Your body will thank you for it!

Zoom Classes

Strength & Stamina

YogaPlus is my favorite and most successful class...established in 2001...combines yoga poses, Pilates and strength training moves.  I take you on a journey through your body for a total body workout.  We end this class with a guided meditation that will leave you feeling relaxed and energized to enjoy the rest of your day.  Tuesday/Thursday @ 9:30 a.m. and Saturday @ 9 a.m.

Group Resistance Training (GRT) utilizes weights, bands/tubing, balls for a total body workout...Tuesday's @ 5:30 p.m.

The Pandemic of 2020 has inspired me to take my workout's out of the gym.  My personal training sessions can be done at a mutually agreed location.  My YogaPlus/GRT classes are conducted on the Zoom App. It’s easier than you think to change your life and to begin feeling good about yourself. I'm an AFAA Certified Fitness Professional since 1984.  I hold certifications in Group Fitness and Personal Training.  I am passionate about helping my clients reach their fitness goals, as well as teaching them how to love themselves for who they are...inside and out.

“I started taking classes with Marybeth in 2011 at Platinum Fitness in Ronkonkoma.  I had been searching for an exercise routine to alleviate pain from arthritis and spending long hours on my feet as a hairstylist.  Additionally, I have a herniation in my neck from an auto accident that gets worse without regular exercise.  Marybeth has changed my life.  Her YogaPlus class has everything I need.  The breathing and stretching exercises completely align my body, while the core exercises make me feel stronger.  At first the class was difficult, buy my balance has improved and my muscles now have better tone that when I was in my 20's.  I am mentally more relaxed, and feel that I can deal with anything life throws at me.  I also take her strength training class and every class is different and challenging.  What I love most about Marybeth is how much she loves what she does.  She is the best part of my weekly routine and I cannot picture myself taking these classes with anyone else.  Thank you Marybeth!”

“In 2012 I dislocated my right knee and spent 10 months on crutches to rehabilitate. I wanted to avoid the intense surgery. After physical therapy my therapist suggested I join a gym. I joined reluctantly because I wasn’t a gym person. I have been taking Marybeth’s YogaPlus class since 2012!  I didn’t think I could do the poses because of my knee.  Well, I surprised myself because I was able to do the moves. Marybeth has provided me with physical health, but more importantly peace and an overall feeling of well-being!
